M. Burns

From 2006 until October 2011 she was chairman and CEO of Mercer, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies. She was then selected to head up a new retirement policy center sponsored by Marsh & McLennan focusing on retirement public policy issues. She formerly was the CFO of numerous public companies, including Marsh & McLennan, Mirant Corp., and Delta Air Lines Inc. She began her career at Arthur Andersen LLP. Also is a director of Cisco Systems Inc. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
