Kevin P. Chavous

A noted attorney, author, and national school reform leader, he heads The Chavous Group, an education consulting firm. He is a founding board member and Executive Counsel to the American Federation for Children, and presides as board chair for Democrats for Education Reform. He is a former member of the Council of the District of Columbia and former chair of the Council’s Education Committee, the Washington, DC charter school movement that became the most prolific charter school jurisdiction in the country.
