Connie K. Duckworth

She founded ARZU, a social enterprise which empowers destitute women weavers in rural Afghanistan, in 2004. She retired in 2001 as a partner and managing director of Goldman Sachs after a 20-year career with the firm. She was the first woman to be named a sales and trading partner in the firm’s history. She is a trustee of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Co. and a director of Steelcase Inc.
