Christopher Henney
Henney co-founded Immunex Corp. in 1980, which was later acquired by Amgen Inc. Also a co-founder of ICOS Corp. in 1990, which was later acquired by Eli Lilly & Co., and Dendreon Corp. in 1997, where he served as CEO and chairman until 2005. Formerly an academic immunologist, he held the first chair in basic immunology at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle. He held faculty positions at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Washington. He also currently serves as vice chair of Cyclacel Pharmaceuticals Inc.
