Alan R. Crain Jr.

In accordance with an Apollo Global Management stockholders agreement, he was appointed a director of EP Energy. He was chief legal and governance officer and VP of Baker Hughes Inc. from 2000 until the end of 2016. Previously, he was EVP, general counsel and secretary of Crown, Cork & Seal Co. Inc. and served as VP and general counsel of Union Texas Petroleum Inc. He founded the Director to Director Exchange at Rice University’ Jones Graduate School of Business and is an adjunct professor of International Law at the University of Houston Law Center.
