Nolan Archibald

Joined Black & Decker in 1985, and in 1986, at the age of 42, was appointed president and chief executive officer, making him the youngest CEO of a Fortune 500 company. From 1977-1985 held various executive management positions at Beatrice Companies Inc., including corporate SVP and president of the consumer durables group. He also serves as a director of Lockheed Martin Corp. and Brunswick Corp.
