Matthew E. Winters

He retired as president of The Allstate Corp. and CEO of Allstate Life Insurance Co. in early 2018. He joined Allstate in 2009 as president and CEO of Allstate Financial. Prior to Allstate, he held numerous senior executive positions at large financial institutions and insurance providers, including AIG , and Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. He spent 12 years on active duty with the U.S. Army and nine years in the U.S. Army Reserves and practiced law for several years before joining the insurance industry.
