John C. Dugan

Dugan is the former chair of the Financial Institutions Group of Covington & Burling LLP from 2011 to 2017. From 2005 until 2010, he was Comptroller of the Currency, the chief officer of the OCC that supervises more than 1,500 federally chartered commercial banks and about 50 federal branches and agencies of foreign banks in the U.S. comprising nearly two-thirds of the assets of the commercial banking system. The Comptroller also is a director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
