David P. Abney

Abney recently retired as executive chairman of the UPS board. He served as CEO of UPS from 2014 until his retirement in mid-2020. He began his UPS career in 1974 while attending Delta State University. He has served as COO and was president of UPS International. He currently serves s a trustee of The UPS Foundation, and is a member of the World Affairs Council of Atlanta as well as the Business Roundtable. He serves on the boards of Macy's Inc. and Northrop Grumman Corporation.
