John M. Richardson

Richardson is a four-star admiral who served as the 31st Chief of Naval Operations from 2015 until his retirement in mid 2019 after more than 30 years of service in the U.S. Navy. He served on the Joint Chiefs of Staff during two presidential administrations, and was director of Naval Reactors, responsible for the full life-cycle, including regulatory responsibilities, of more than 90 reactors operating around the world on nuclear-powered warships. He currently serves on the boards of The Boeing Company and Exelon Corporation.
