Assemble risk factors into a coherent strategy. “The landscape of risk management is constantly evolving and requires that audit committees extend their focus beyond traditional financial risks and encompass a more diverse spectrum of risks that includes cybersecurity, AI, reputation, talent and environmental risks. Effective governance requires audit committees to review and integrate these risk factors into a cohesive strategy, ensuring robust oversight and timely response. By incorporating a comprehensive risk management framework and promoting cross-functional collaboration, audit committees can enhance organizational resilience, safeguard assets and support sustainable growth. This proactive approach is crucial for navigating complex risk environments and maintaining stakeholder confidence.”
