New Directors Roster Additions

We present a preview of six of the directors to be featured in our next Directors Roster, appearing in the Third Quarter 2005 edition of Directors & Boards.

Countrywide Financial Corp. 
Kathleen Brown
Managing Director, Head of West Coast Region
Goldman Sachs & Co.


In present position since 2003. Joined Goldman Sachs in 2001, where until 2003 she managed a $2.5 billion portfolio in its private wealth management group. Previously held various executive management positions at Bank of America Corp., including president of the private bank. From 1991-1994 served as treasurer of the state of California, responsible for a $26 billion investment portfolio and in 2004 was the Democratic Party nominee for governor. Formerly was with the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers LLP.

Countrywide is a financial services holding company. Revenues are $9 billion. Goldman Sachs is an international investment, banking, securities and investment firm. Revenues are $30 billion.


Home Depot Inc.
Tom Ridge

Has more than 20 years of experience in public service. Resigned in 2004 as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, where he oversaw some 40 federal agencies and departments. From 1995-2001 was governor of Pennsylvania. Previously served 14 years in the House of Representatives. Formerly was an assistant district attorney in Erie County, Pa. From 1968-1970 served as an infantry staff sergeant during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star. Age 60.

Home Depot is a specialty retailer of home improvement products. In 2005 it was recognized by Fortune magazine as the No. 1 most admired specialty retailer. Revenues are $73 billion.


JPMorgan Chase & Co.
William C. Weldon
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Johnson & Johnson Inc.

In present position since 2002. Has spent a nearly 35-year career at J&J where he has held various management positions including president and company group chairman of Ethicon Endo-Surgery. In 1998 he was named worldwide chairman of the pharmaceuticals group. Also serves as chairman of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America. Age 56.

JPMorgan Chase is a global financial services firm operating in more than 50 countries with assets of $1.2 trillion. Revenues are $31 billion. Johnson & Johnson manufactures health and well-being products through more than 200 operating companies. Revenues are $47 billion.


Microsoft Corp.
Dina Dublon

Has extensive experience in the financial and accounting industry. Most recently served as EVP and CFO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., and was instrumental in the structuring and negotiation of the various Chase, JPMorgan, Chemical Bank, Manufacturers Hanover, and Bank One mergers. Began at Chemical Bank in 1981 as a management trainee, where she would go on to hold executive management positions including SVP of corporate finance, senior banker of the financial institutions division, and corporate treasurer. In 1996, following the merger with Chase, was appointed EVP of corporate planning. Previously served as a research associate at Harvard Business School. Formerly held various management positions at Bank Hapoalim in Israel. Also serves as a director of Accenture Ltd. Age 51.

Microsoft is a worldwide developer and manufacturer of computer software. Revenues are $38 billion.


Source Interlink Companies Inc.
Gray Davis
Counsel
Loeb & Loeb

Has more than 30 years of public service experience. From 1998-2003 served as governor of California. Previously held the offices of lieutenant governor, state controller, and state assembly representative for Los Angeles. Formerly was chief of staff to governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. Also appointed to the board of Source Interlink are David Jessick, previously senior executive vice president of Rite Aid Corp., and Gregory Mays, director and chief financial officer of Simon Marketing.

Source Interlink provides marketing, manufacturing, and design for front-end supermarket displays. Revenues are $348 million.  Loeb & Loeb is a law firm.


Wabash National Corp.
Scott K. Sorensen
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Hillenbrand Industries Inc.

In present position since 2001. Previously served as EVP and CFO and treasurer of Pliant Corp. (formerly Huntsman Packaging Corp.). From 1996-1998 served as SVP and CFO of the CBS power generation division of Westinghouse Electric Corp. Also had served as VP and CFO of the CBS communication and systems division of Westinghouse. From 1994-1996 was director of business development and planning for Phelps Dodge Industries. Formerly served as an engagement manager for McKinsey & Co. Age 42. 

Wabash National designs and manufactures standard and customized truck trailers. Revenues are $1 billion. Hillenbrand Industries provides equipment for the health care industry and manufactures products for the funeral services industry. Revenues are $2 billion.
